Summary:

Isaac is looking for a friend. He tells Whit he has only acquaintances. So Whit sends Isaac on a trip in the Imagination Station to witness the friendship between Jonathan the prince and David the shepherd, one of the greatest friendships of all time. While there, Isaac meets a boy his age named Samuel. The two of them help Jonathan and David avoid King Saul’s wicked plots to have David killed. Samuel and Isaac become steadfast companions, and by the end of the adventure, Isaac has learned what it means to have, and be, a true friend.

“Isaac the True Friend” introduced the character of Sam Johnson, who was, for a time, one of AIO’s central kids.
